ABOUT US
As a young boy I remember my great grandfather taking his push mower and walking to the local cemetery to care for my great grandmother's gravesite. He did this faithfully and on a weekly basis as long as the grass grew. I also remember spending countless hours following my parents through cemeteries as they worked on our family genealogy. I believe it was from this foundation that a fascination and love of cemeteries was formed. To me a cemetery is a place of reflection, where we remember and honor our ancestors; where we remember relatives, friends, and acquaintances. It is a place where a memory can evoke a smile or a tear.
Cemeteries contain so much history that unfortunately time and the elements will eventually erode away. It is sad and disheartening to visit these sites and find them in various stages of disrepair and decay. Maintenance and preservation efforts can slow the effects of time, and in many cases restore sites for future generations to visit. Very few people can, or will, tend to a gravesite as my great grandfather did. Many people simply don't have time due to the demands of life, or they live too far away. Maybe they are not physically capable anymore. Whatever the reason may be, The Caretaker Gravesite Maintenance LLC can fill that void, providing services as a one time visit, or on a routine maintenance schedule. Get in touch and let's discuss your needs. We would be honored to provide gravesite care for those you cherish.
